Question 13: What is the state's role in promoting affordable housing? Share a specific proposal in this area.
More government is not the answer. Public/private partnerships are. We
implemented a very successful affordable housing program when I was
Mayor of Brooklyn Park, that continues to provide benefits to people
to this day. The program came to be through a public/private
partnership. Public/private partnerships work. As Governor, I'll do
more of what works, and less of what doesn't.
