Introduction from Chris Wright -
Grassroots Party Candidate
I'm running for governor because I hate what Minnesota has become through
Drug Prohibition. I think we can achieve public safety through public
regulation of narcotics, rather than criminal regulation.

When Reagan re-ignited the Drug War in 1986, following the death of
basketball star Len Bias, our state had a fairly low murder rate. Now with
the help of Skip Humphrey and other drug demagogues our state has increased
its murder rate substantially. In fact, Minneapolis achieved the distinction
of being called such things as Money-apolis and Murder-apolis.

I am fighting a marijuana case in the Court of Appeals to legalize pot under
the Article 13, Section 7, which gives us the right to sell and grow anything
safe without a license. There isn't a single marijuana death. Yet, Skip
Humphrey still prosecutes me to take away our constitutional rights and the
rights of farmers.

I love this state even though it has trampled my rights and treated me
meanly. I believe Minnesota can become a beacon of liberty if we only choose
to stand up for freedom.
