Dick Borrell      Response 6
Question 6:
Tell us why you would make the best Governor for the State of
Minnesota.  What kind of "team" would you put together if elected?
Also, what is the worst idea you have heard one of your opponents in
this race support, and why?

In your rebuttal include a response to this question:  If you face an
endorsement or primary challenge, why would you be the best candidate
for your party?   In closing, please include information on how
interested readers can contact your campaign to volunteer and get
more information.

BORRELL Response 6:

Governor Dick Borrell would return the role of government to that of
servant of the people by:

1. Not allowing "social engineering" of our society, but allow it
freedom, both personal and economic, to grow and flourish as our
citizens wish.

2. Changing the initiative of department commissioners
to provide the same or better services more efficiently, thus
actually reducing real spending.

3. Looking at privatization of some state services to reduce cost and
improved service.  We would work with the unions to generate what is
possible as we improve our government.  We all want to reduce the
cost of our government.

4. Calling on spiritual community leaders to reach out to all our
citizens, asking them to strive for a return to religious morality.
We see the result of taking God out of our schools, government and
institutions--crime, drugs, gangs, murders, teen pregnancy,
illegitimacy, and rape.  Our constitution is wholly inadequate to
govern without morality.  Humans control-God frees.  If we want
freedom, we must be willing to govern our own behaviors with
religious morality!

5. Reforming education by returning to teaching our children how to
think, not what to think.  True education might include philosophies
about our existence.  We should also study American History, the
Constitution, the Bill of Rights, the Declaration of Independence and
the History of Common Law.  Our children can and will find their own
self-evident answers.

6. Protecting our environment, but making it illegal to use "Junk
Science" to manipulate the process or the people.

7. Allowing full access to government and requiring all departments
to be completely account able to the people of the state.

8. Representing all the citizens of Minnesota, not just Republicans,
bringing unity of purpose and sanity back to our government.

You are invited to support the citizen candidate, Dick Borrell.
